Searching is pretty self-explanatory. Search for a place name or anything in a ZIP code, state, etc. Searches are remembered through the results display, so remember to clear any fields when modifying your searches. Keyword searches match on the information for each place, while 'Name' searches match only on the name. Keyword searches are as you might expect. Searching for 'eggs diner' will show all the entries with both words in the description. Searching for 'eggs diner -coffee' will show all entries with both 'eggs' and 'diner', but none that also include 'coffee'.

The Short Detail selection will show a quick list of search results. Click on the name of any result to see more information about that place.

The Long Detail will show you the full details of every result.

The Map Detail uses Google Maps integration, and will draw a map containing markers of all the results. Clicking on the marker will show the quick details, and clicking on the name in the marker will show the full details. As with any Google Map, you can zoom in and out, drag the map around, and so forth.
